December!!!

December is a terrific month for me this year! Here is a list of the fun things that have happened so far.

1. I found out that I get to go to Colorado!!! It is where my sister and best friend live!! I have been waiting to do this for a while!
2. I got to go to the Cheesecake Factory!!! It was really good. I had only ever had bites that were brought home by my parents. And the best part was that it was after the Nutcracker, so it was my reward for suffering through it!
3. I bought my sisters old Zune because she got a new IPod Touch. It was only $27!!
4. Christmas and New Years. Two of my favorite holidays!
5. I have the most money of both my sisters!!! Katy and Lisa Dawn. I personally think that this is pretty sweet! Them not so much.

• So to me this sounds like a sweet December. Oh yeah and it snowed! I like December!!

Christmas Time Has Arrived

So today we got out all the Christmas decor and put away all the fall/Thanksgiving decor. It was fun, and exciting. I know a lot of people already have their trees, but we are going to go get one from the mountains. (Always an "exciting"time) Christmas time is always my favorite time of year, people have so many Christmas tradtions. Christmas music makes it apperance on the radio stations, and the festivies begin!!! I decided that for my Christmas fun on my blog would be a playlist of my favorite Christmas CD, Let It Snow Baby, Let It Raindeer, by Relient K. (My favorite band.) Some of my favorite songs on the CD had to be left off because I couldn't find them on the website. But anyway today was fun because I got to enjoy Christmas music and fun with my sisters and nieces and nephews. Carson my nephew was very cute when he started playing with our Fisher Price nativity. He enjoyed Joseph immensely because he could fit his head in his mouth and bite it. Then my sister Robyn came home and made us white chicken chili, and great cornbread. It was delicious a great ending to a terrific day. (And then I talked to my friend Kenz which made today even better!) MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!

Funny, Silly, Gilly, Josie, Keckie, Night

Tonight my niece asked me if I wanted to play "dolls" American Girl Dolls. I told her that I would. I searched out my old American Girl dolls and began to playing with her. Then my other niece Josie came down and asked to have a big doll. I told her that she could play with Molly while I read a Kit book. Kit is a 1930's era doll. Gillyan finished playing with the dolls she climbed up into my lap. Josie decided she to was done and climbed up onto the couch with us. We all started laughing and Josie kept kicking us, and it was funny! So we continued to read when Josie and Gillyan started laughing. (I am still not sure what about.) Everything then became funny and we started laughing and rolling on the floor. Everyone giggled and howled with laughter. When we finally finished Josie then did something funny sending us all into one more fit of laughter. Then Josie started kicking again so I tickled her. Then Gillyan did to, so I tickled her also, sending us into one more laughing fit. So at the end of the night we all had had a magnificant time. And it made me appreciate my family more than anything. It was a great way to start off my Thanksgiving week! Remember that even the most regular things can make you more thankful.

Do I have to?

Today some people at church were having a wedding shower. My mom asked if I wanted to go?
First I thought of blurting out "NO!", But then I thought better. "Do I have to?" I asked in a way that you could tell I didn't want to. I of course didn't go, but I thought about how many times we ask God "Do I have to?". So many people are asked to do amazing things by for God, But they think of blurting out "NO!" and then they ask "Do I have to?". So many times God says "No you don't have to, but I want you to." We are so selfish some times with our talents. Instead of honoring God by say "Sure it might be fun." We say "Do I have to?" Because we don't think about how we could get such blessing out of just say "okay!" instead of telling God no. You don't have to be happy about something you don't want to do you just have to try. So next time instead of say "Do I have to?" try "I give it a try." You'll recieve such blessing from God for doing so.

Blessed

Daily people go through the acts of life, never thinking about the blessing that the Lord has given us. Lately I have really be thinking about other countries who have so much less than I. I keep thinking "Lord what can I do?" I feel usless. People are always talking about how they've been in some other country helping out. But what about our country? We are blessed because we don't have to have other countries coming in to help us. But even so many of us forget that just because it makes us feel better about of oursleves to go to another country we still need to focus on our own country. America has money, troops, resources, and FREEDOM! So people forget that we need to help oursleves by Christians stepping out their front doors and talking! We wouldn't have the president that we do right now if Christians had done what they were supposed to do. But we didn't, we hid thinking that we were to little without enough people to get the candidate in that we wanted. So if you are Christian get out and talk. Christian means Christ like, Chirst didn't hide behind His mom and dad because he was scared that the big bad government was gonna come get Him. Christ went out even when He was little out to share the words of His Father. So as Christians we need to be Christ like and get out there and share our belifs!!!! GET OUT THERE AND SHARE!!!!!!!

Is it the Writer that count or what's Written?

Today I read a beatiful post by my best friends sister. I was amazed at the wonderful way she wrote. I never gave it much thought, but do we think more of something written because we know the writer. I always think that things are so much more beatiful when I have a personal realtionship with the person who has written it. I think that is why people who are Christians love the Bible so much. Becuase if you are a Christian you have a personal relationship with God who is the one who wrote the Bible. You might say, but Job wrote the book of Job. Yea he did, but God gave him the right words to put into the book. I believe that if we pay more attention to the writings than to the writer we don't really love something as much. Just ike I love Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John because they are all about Jesus and they are by someone who a had a close relationship with Him. I love Jesus so being able to read a book all about Him, by someone who spent their every waking moment with Him makes the book so much more special! So I hope that the next time you read something you think about the person who took time to write it before you begin criticing it and pouring over the mistakes!

High School Musical 3

I admit I got pulled into the High School Musical lovers club. I went and saw it today and thought that it was good. I had watched the first two the night before. I had always laughed at how my friends were always saying how much they liked them and how good they were. Not to mention how cute Troy Bolten is AKA Zac Effron. (I personally like Chad better.) If you haven't seen the movies you wouldn't understand. I would suggest that you go see it, but if you don't like musicals don't! I love the movie called 7 Brides for 7 Brothers. It is really old, But sometimes oldies are goodies. It's a great musical with lots of funny scenes. My sister Lisa Dawn hooked me on that one. So all in all the movies that I continally made fun of are now some of my favorites.

P.S. Must make disclaimer about the Family post. I apologize to my Aunt for forgetting her. She is one of my favorite realitives.

EXCITED!!!

Have you ever been really excited about anything? Well right now I am, because Halloween is tomorrow. I am going to dress up tomorrow morning as Hillary Clinton for our homeschool group. Then that night I am working at our church fall festival which we hold at our mall. I am working with my two good friends Emily and Angelina. We are running a booth called the lollipop toss. Little kids throw three rings at a cork board full of lollipops. If they ring one they get it, but if not we just hand them one. It is pretty easy to do. I decided that since no one else was dressing up I will just go as Kelly. Then after that my friend Angelina is sleeping over. It will be a super fun night. I can't wait to eat my brothers candy too! (They will let me have some.)

Family

I haven't really written anything about my family in my blog. I really enjoy my family they are always making me smile. What I want to tell you about is the wonderfulness of my family.

My Dad- Is a really smart person with a doctorate. He is a very take charge person who is throughly involed in things at church. People think that he is very good at what he does, he was one time he was even not given a job because he was "over qualified." This immensley amused me.

My Mom- Is the person who keeps our family in stitches. She is always off doing something for someone. She is always on the go, but is never to busy to discuss and important matter with us.

My sister Robyn- Is the person who most people say I look the most like in my family. She is the person I want to be when I am big, because she holds both my parents greatest qualities. Robyn is married and has 2 kids.

My Sister Clare- Is one of the smartest people I know. I want that quality of her. She is also a good people person. Is also married with 2 kids.

My Brother Clark- Is a little on the wild side. He is sweet and loving even so. He has a fun sense of humor. Is a cell phone salesmen.

My Sister Katy- Is also very knowledgeable. She is very thoughful and funny. Katy is currently a running start student.

My Sister Lisa Dawn- Is the "mean one" supposedly, but really she is sweet and fun. A wonderful person to be around.

My Brother Luke- Is the best to make fun of, because he is younger. But he is also really nice and cool.

My Brother Mark- Is the ruler of our household. He is immensely cute. Who will be the youngest dictator. (Just joking!)

All in all that is 8 kids all biological. I love my family so much! I am right in between Lisa Dawn and Luke. It is really fun to be in a big family. All of my family has the best of qualities. I want to be like them all when I am "big." My family is a group of very cool people. We are all home schooled and how my mom finds time to do this I don't know!?!?!

6 Things

Alright I couldn't help reading my Aunts cool list I had to do it. Although I did just post 17 minutes ago.

1.) Weird thing- I have broken my head 4 times and my wrist once. I know it is totally weird.
I also have had scissors puncture my head.

2.) Fun thing- I love a sappy romance novel! I don't know why, but I love that it is always a happy well sappy ending.

3.) Sweet thing- I love giving someone who is sad a hug or a sweet smile to cheer them up.
(Like Clare's change purse episode.)

4.) Interesting thing- My aunt burned my ear one time when she was curling my hair. For the longest time I wouldn't forgive her for burning my ear. I finally did like 3 years ago!

5.) Family thing- I love just sitting and listening to my sisters and parents have a discussion about things. I really love learning about new stuff.

6.) Musical thing- I love listening to music, but took piano for a year. I absolutely hated it! I can't stand practicing anything because I am a procrastinator.

Funny Friends

I LOVE my friends! They keep me in check when I am just going crazy. I talked to my one of my best friends yesterday for like 2 hours we just have so much in common! My mom took me and my friend Alyssa to a corn maze today and we had so much fun! Yester day I found out I had prably not gotten a part in a really important play to me. I called up my best friend and she totally consoled me a way no one else could. All my friends have totally different personalties.
Alyssa- Is totally a take charge kinda person so some times we clash.
Angelina- Is sweet and always composed I love how she can make me see things in such a wonderful way.
Kenz-Is always there when I need her most just to talk to and laugh with.
Coralyn- Shows me what is like to almost be like an only child. She also makes me laugh.
Emily- Is like my friend that I really only chat with at church. So we are church friends.
So I have all different types of friends, some love leading and some want to follow. I adore all my friends and the way that they make me feel. Un-like my sisters I don't have what they call a "bestie" that is a sister who is like really close to your age. So I have to reli on my friends to be my "besties" which I am okay with! I love how all my friends are so different and funny in such wonderful ways. So if you can't tell I am sorry, but I love my friends!

Happy-ness

Is happy-ness a word?
I finally got on the good side with the teacher that I talked about in the latter post. I haven't written for so long because I got in trouble like any 12 year old girl does so I couldn't blog. So I am happy about those two things and I got to see a friend who moved a couple of weeks ago and I didn't get to say bye to. Another happy thing. My mom said that on Haloween I could have a few friends over becuase we don't get to go to a youth overnighter at church. (So she is letting me have it to drown my sorrows.) I have been doing really good on keeping up with my school work (Well Math at least!) which means at the end of every month I get math allowance. Which is getting paid to keep up with you math. I also am happy because the tomatoes I grew are turning red!!!! (In October which is totally weird!) I got to spend a lot of time with my Grandma which was totally fun! I got to see my Aunt Rachel Dawn and Uncle Cory and their kids earlier this month which was fun. My nieces and nephews are coming in November. I might get to see my best friend soon! So I am totally happy right now!! I wrote this blog because I have been writing some really not happy ones. Another happy thing is that I have been doing great in all my co-op classes. I am really Happy!!!

Frustration!

I have to write a report! You are proably thinking that this will be no big feat for the girl who writes so much in her blog! But the funny well more like frustrating thing is that it is for a teacher who really is not to fond of me. So I feel as if anything I write for her she won't like. So it is really hard to write something that she will like about my rabbit who died in July so I am totally working off memory. And I have to admit I didn't spend barely anytime with Fluffy. So I am totally frustrated because I wrote a report for her and she gave back and pretty much said that it was bad! So I am debating should I fix the one she hated or just write a whole new one? Change

No when I say change I don't mean money, nor am I talking about Barack Obama! I admit I get bored easily so you will see that I frequently change my blog background, where everything is, and my poll. So don't worry your computer hasn't gone funky. I just got bored of what my blog looked like. Oh and on the poll you can put more than one awnser like if you like it in a can with a straw mark in a can and with a straw by checking both boxes! Fun right?

Sunday Morining Funkies

Okay so today I went to my grandmas church. I used to go to my grandma's church all the time when I was little because I lived with her. So I made some really good friends, so going back is always, well, funky. I have a great friend De she was of course there this morning. Her and my friend Mye gave me, okay maybe not, a warm welcome, but a funky one. De was laughing hysterically and would not stop, and Mye was telling me that I was no longer the boss. I then gave her a spill about how I had always been the boss, but that's another blog. Anyway it ended up an okay morning. But my friends went a little wacko while I've been away. So normally my friends just stand around and talk, but these aren't my normal friends! Well I don't see them normally. Seeing as I live in Crazytown and they live in Funkytown. So I am standing with my sisters and they are off somewhere plotting to come up behind me and poke the crud out of me. So I don't even notice until they come up behind me and start poking me. So I poke them back, But I poke harder. So Mye says "Gee there is a whole lotta mean in such a little person." I know I respond. See I am a little person being 5 ft. and my friend Mye is about 5.5 and De is 5.3! So see do you and your friends plot to go and poke your other friend? Nah but your friends don't live in Funkytown. So my friends are pretty funky if you can't see. So if you have a friend who is even funky-er than mine please comment. Keck

Politics

Okay so yes I am 12. That does not mean that I have no idea what the presidential race is! If I was allowed to vote I would vote for McCain. But since I am not I am good with just watching the debates, talks, and talk host chat about the coming election. Most of my friends think that I am physcotic, but I just love politics! My aspiration for when I get older is to be a Sarah Palin! No she was not a lawyer. But that would just be one thing that would be different. I love chatting with people about politics. I more than likely know more about the election than some adults! It saddens me that more kids don't get involved with politics. I think that Sarah Palin would make a wonderful vice president. She is so down to earth. She is so much like normal people. My friends and I like to talk about their kids. My friend Kenz says that she would not like having a governor for a mother . I then gave her my lawyer talk she changed views quick. That's why I want to be a lawyer because I can change peoples views. I just love politics and when I am done being a lawyer I want to be a politician. If there is one thing I love it is a good debate. I love to debate with people about politics and anything that they are willing to debate about. I really am not sure why. I know that most 12 year old girls don't like politics and stuff like this, but I am not a normal 12 year old girl!

I absolutely love blogging! If you had not noticed I love changing templates, colors, backgrounds, where everything is on my blog, and just changing. It comes from being a new blogger! I just love using The Cutest Blog on the Block. com they have the absolute cutest backgrounds and fun things to had to your blog! I got the 6 B's from there, do you like it? My best friend and I talk about blogging a whole lot! She had I got blogs on the same day! I find something out and tell her or the other way around. We love blogging and really feel like big girls. Blogging is so fun!! I just adore it! When I blog I jsut feel so happy! I LOVE BLOGGING!!!!

Forgetting or Forgotten?

I have this terrible habit of walking into a room staring for 12 precise seconds and forgetting what I have come for! If you have ever had this feeling you know where I am coming from because proably like me you get irratated when you forget. People say that only when you are old you forget everything. They lie like a rug!!! I am only 12 and cannot remeber but two words of what my friend and I talked about on the phone simply 20 minutes ago!! Is that not terrible? My mother always says that I only rember what I want to, but this is simply un-true! I don't mean to forget that she told me to clean my bedroom before blogging it just simply happens!!! I don't mean to forget that my dad told me to go get him a glass of water I just get caught up talking with my sisters. Which means that I am frequently in trouble. I tell people that frequently feel like an elderly person who cannot seem to rember what happend 20 minutes ago! I just forget. What was I talking about I left and forgot! Oh that's right forgetting! If you don't get my drift I apologize! But just forget that you ever read the blog and you will understand!
Forgetting is not a habit you get into it is simply something that you do without thinking. A simple slip up of the mind, a moment of stupidty where your brain doesn't function the way it should. I get these moments frequently much to frequently for any 12 year old girl. It simply makes me feel dumb! As if I a smart child cannot even rember what the teacher has asked because I forgot to ask if she was asking me! Did that make much sense to you? I didn't to me and I wrote it! Okay so I better finish before I forget what I was supposed to be doing!

Wahoo!!

I am so excited to finally have a blog!!! I really enjoy writing so I think that this will be a great outlet for my babbling! I have a book that has been typed, but is currently in critiquing mode! I hope that you will enjoy my journey of being a middle child, 12 years old, crazy, energetic, and Christ serving girl! I absolutely love reading others blogs, and I hope mine will be just as enjoyable! Although not near as funny, or well thought out as my friends and family's!!! I am so excited to finally have a blog I fell like a big girl now. Because my Mom, Aunt, sisters, and most of my friends have one!
